We have found it necessary to give notice to the NHS North East and North Cumbria Intergrated Care Board of our intention to cease the dispensary service at our Wylam branch surgery on the 31st of March 2026.
We have been working through contacting all patients who are currently noted to have their medication dispensed by our Wylam branch to alert them of this closure.
We will still be able to process your prescription requests in the usual manner, that is, whatever method you use for ordering your repeat medication now, will still be valid. The difference you will find is that we will no longer be able to prepare or dispense your items at the Wylam surgery.
If you are yet to be contacted, please know we are still working through patients however, if you wish to contact us to nominate a new chosen pharmacy or, move to dispensing over at our Ponteland branch, we welcome you to do so.
It is important to note this will not affect clinics being run at our Wylam surgery, these will continue as normal.
